Job description

Design and define enterprise-wide API architecture, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Lead API strategy initiatives and establish governance frameworks for API lifecycle management.
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to API design standards and architectural principles.
Define API versioning, security, authentication, authorization, monitoring, and documentation standards.
Review and approve API designs, ensuring consistency, reusability, and maintainability.
Drive adoption of API-first development methodologies and integration best practices.
Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to development teams.

Requirements

10+ years of overall software development experience.
Strong background in Java and Spring Boot application development.
Extensive experience designing and implementing Microservices and API-driven architectures.
Proven experience defining API strategy, governance, standards, and best practices across enterprise applications.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
