Job description
The controls engineer will support modernization projects of existing controls systems and design of new controls systems for power generation plants. 80% of their day-to-day will be centered around back-office engineering and design tasks, and the remaining 20% will be on-site factory acceptance testing and assisting personnel with installation and commissioning. Daily responsibilities include
Requirements
- Engineering degree (preferably in electrical or computer engineering - either associates or bachelor’s degrees are acceptable)
o 3-6 years of relevant controls experience

Knowledge of DCS (distributed control system), PLC hardware, and I/O list (input/output)

Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design

Strong desire and willingness to learn * Knowledge of EPLAN software

Knowledge of Siemens S7 hardware platform or Siemens T3000 DCS
