Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Program Manager - AI Platform Delivery to serve as the Scrum Master and operational backbone for a large-scale enterprise AI platform organization.

This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, and AI/Technology teams to drive planning, execution, delivery excellence, operational rigor, and cross-functional alignment.

This individual will focus on delivery execution and program coordination (not product strategy or engineering ownership)-ensuring work progresses efficiently from concept through delivery while maintaining visibility into priorities, dependencies, risks, capacity, and outcomes.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong Agile leadership, technical fluency, and the ability to operate within a fast-moving AI-driven environment., Agile Delivery Leadership

  • Serve as Scrum Master and Agile facilitator across multiple teams
  • Facilitate Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Ensure Agile best practices are applied and continuously improved
  • Drive delivery accountability, transparency, and execution excellence

Program & Project Management

  • Coordinate execution across Product, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Build and manage program plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies
  • Identify risks, blockers, and cross-functional impacts; drive resolution
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and priorities
  • Maintain visibility into program progress and delivery commitments

Portfolio & Execution Oversight

  • Support roadmap execution through planning and tracking (not ownership)
  • Maintain visibility into strategic initiatives and platform investments
  • Align priorities, dependencies, and team capacity across workstreams

Executive Communications & Reporting

  • Create executive-level reporting, dashboards, and status updates
  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and delivery health to leadership
  • Facilitate decision-making discussions and document outcomes
  • Support quarterly planning and executive reviews

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms across teams
  • Improve intake, planning, governance, and reporting processes
  • Drive adoption of delivery frameworks, tools, and standards
  • Support capacity planning and resource forecasting
  • Build scalable processes to support organizational growth

AI Delivery & Technical Coordination

  • Develop working knowledge of AI platforms, architecture, and delivery models
  • Support cross-functional coordination for AI-related initiatives
  • Track delivery efforts across areas such as:
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Prompt engineering frameworks
  • AI observability, monitoring, and governance
  • Ensure visibility into technical, operational, and security milestones
  • Partner with technical teams to understand risks and dependencies

AI-Driven Operational Improvement

  • Leverage AI tools to improve planning, reporting, and workflows
  • Identify automation opportunities across program management activities
  • Support adoption of AI-assisted delivery and operational practices
  • Evaluate emerging tools to improve team efficiency, Program & Delivery Tools: Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Airtable, Smartsheet, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart

Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365

Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Excel, dashboarding tools

AI & Automation (Preferred): AI copilots, prompt tooling, workflow automation platforms

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Delivery Management, or Scrum leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading Agile delivery across multiple technical teams
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and scaled delivery models
  • Experience working across Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success managing complex technical programs with dependencies
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and blockers
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working within highly technical software environments
  • Ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI, * Experience supporting enterprise platforms (AI, data, cloud, or software)
  • Experience working within Product and Engineering organizations
  • Experience with portfolio management and planning cycles
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI and Generative AI ecosystems
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or similar
  • Exposure to:
  • Generative AI platforms and LLMs
  • RAG and AI-driven workflows
  • AI governance and evaluation frameworks
  • API integrations and orchestration
  • Automation or low-code/no-code tools

Benefits & conditions

Contract: W2 only, 22 month contract with potential for conversion Pay: $80-85/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k)
