Remote Senior Developer - Backend C#

Profectus Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively with a leading technology client as they continue to scale their in-house engineering function. We are currently seeking a highly capable Senior Back-End Developer with a strong foundation in C# and deep experience in database-driven development. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-moving, product-led environment, where technology underpins everything the business delivers. The successful candidate will play a key role in the ongoing development and optimisation of core system that is very much a back-end focused role and is not aimed at those looking to become full-stack.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong C# experience - essential
• Ideally some C++ or Java experience a bonus.
• Excellent SQL/database skills - preferably MS SQL Server
• Some exposure to web development, ideally using React
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and data integration
• Experience mentoring or guiding others is welcome, but this is not a team lead position
• Comfortable in a collaborative, agile environment

• Remote initially transitioning into Hybrid working - 3 days a week in a modern new Horsham based office within 3 months
