Job description

Mid-Weight Headless WordPress Developer - 6-month Fixed Term Contract - £45k

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a digital agency who are Mid-weight Headless WordPress Developer to join their digital team on a contract basis.

This role will work across exciting web projects, collaborating with designers and developers to build fast, scalable sites using WordPress as a headless CMS alongside React and Next.js., * Develop and maintain websites using headless WordPress architecture

  • Implement REST APIs to deliver content from WordPress
  • Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and accessibility
  • Ensure high-quality code through testing and documentation
  • Debug and resolve development issues

Requirements

  • WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, CPTs).
  • Strong experience with headless CMS (WordPress + React/Next.js)
  • Proficient in PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind
  • Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) block development
