Job description

The Mobile Engineer is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment and systems across multiple sites. The role requires demonstrated technical expertise in at least one core trade-Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations-while also being multi-skilled across other facility systems., * Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure compliance with facility standards.

  • Travel between multiple facilities to ensure all systems and equipment are functioning properly.

  • Oversee facility services including preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, and general technical upkeep.

  • Conduct cleaning, inspections, calibration, and part replacements to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimal performance.

  • Record equipment readings and make operational adjustments as necessary.

  • Follow departmental policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Perform routine checks of tool and instrument inventory.

  • Monitor and evaluate quality and pricing of maintenance work provided by external contractors.

Comply with all safety procedures, maintain strong housekeeping practices, and proactively identify and eliminate safety hazards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot a variety of Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine root causes of issues, and execute corrective actions.

  • EPA 608 Type II Certification.

  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Valid driver’s license. - EPA 608 Universal Certification.

  • Completion of two years of trade school in electrical system design, refrigeration, or HVAC.
