Databricks Dashboard Engineer

The Senior Analyst / Data Scientist is responsible for building advanced marketing analytics capabilities and automated reporting in DataBricks by leveraging PySpark, data science Python libraries, and the channel marketing and contact data available in DataBricks. The analyst is also responsible for designing and building dashboards that connect to Genie allowing business users to “chat with their data” by using Databricks’ native dataviz tools and Plotly. This role focuses on enabling non-technical business users with access to clean data and meaningful insights via a chat interface., Develop interactive dashboards using Databricks SQL and visualization tools

Build KPI views for operations, production, and business metrics

Design user-friendly dashboards for business and technical users

Integrate dashboards with curated datasets (Gold layer)

Support performance optimization of dashboards and queries

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability and quality

Ensure data governance, security, and access control compliance

8 years experience in BI or analytics development

Strong SQL skills

Experience with Databricks SQL dashboards

Basic Python knowledge

Understanding of Lakehouse architecture
