Job description

The RFQ and Storage Data Analyst at Cyient, Inc. will be responsible for analyzing Request for Quotation (RFQ) data and storage-related information to identify trends, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in data management and visualization., * Collect, clean, and analyze RFQ data from various sources to identify cost drivers, supplier performance, and negotiation opportunities.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key RFQ metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
Analyze storage utilization, inventory levels, and logistics data to identify inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies.
Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement solutions to improve data quality.
Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven models for forecasting and scenario planning related to RFQs and storage.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within RFQ and storage management through data analysis.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and supply chain management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong understanding of RFQ processes and supply chain principles.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
