Job description

Join our client’s dynamic team as a Test Engineer, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of quality assurance across diverse applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and refine automated testing frameworks from the ground up, ensuring our client’s technology stack remains robust, scalable, and highly reliable. Collaborate closely with a dedicated squad and the Test Automation Working Group to craft high-quality code and drive innovative testing solutions that deliver measurable value to end-users. If you are passionate about automation, problem-solving, and making a tangible impact, this role is your chance to thrive and grow in a forward-thinking environment., * Develop and sustain both manual and automated tests that align with organizational and domain-specific standards.

  • Contribute to the design, development, and review of testing code to enhance automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
  • Support and improve the release process through diligent testing practices.
  • Document testing procedures and contribute to internal guidelines, standards, and policies.
  • Gain and maintain a solid understanding of the technical and business aspects within the squad’s scope.
  • Work within Agile methodologies, participating actively in sprint planning and reviews.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with test design techniques ensuring high data quality.
  • Hands-on expertise with testing web-based applications and/or ETL technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Java, with familiarity with pytest preferred.
  • Experience using version control systems to manage test code changes.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Strong analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Formal education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
