Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of the platform by:Building and scaling high-performance backend services in GoDesigning and delivering distributed systems capable of handling significant scale and thuputDriving performance optimisation and low-latency architecture initiativesContributing to the modernisation and rewrite of core platform servicesCollaborating closely with platform, infrastructure, and product engineering

Strong commercial experience developing backend systems ideally with Go (Would consider Java or Python)5+ years’ experience building scalable, distributed applicationsDeep understanding of concurrency, systems design, and performance optimisationExperience working on low-latency and/or high-throughput platformsComfortable operating in fast-moving, high-growth environmentsInterest in AI-assisted development and modern engineering PackageUp to £135,000 base salary, bonus, equity - Remote first with the expectation to travel to London 2-3 times a quarter
