Abel Womack is hiring a hands-on Data Analyst to improve reporting, automate recurring data processes, and help leaders across sales, service, operations, finance, and warehouse teams make faster, smarter decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, maintain, and improve Microsoft Power BI dashboards for executive, operational, and department-level reporting.

  • Translate business questions into meaningful KPIs, metrics, reports, and visualizations.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support accurate reporting and analysis.

  • Improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reporting platforms and business systems.

  • Automate repetitive reporting and data management tasks using tools such as Python, PowerShell, and related workflows.

  • Partner with department leaders to identify reporting needs, uncover trends, and support process improvements.

  • Document key processes, workflows, and reporting solutions so they are repeatable and easy to support.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Microsoft Power BI.

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or database-related work preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

  • Ability to connect technical work to business needs and explain data clearly to non-technical users.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and follow-through skills.

  • Comfort learning new tools, improving processes, and working independently on practical business problems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience with ERP, WMS, logistics, warehouse, distribution, or other operational business systems is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, ETL concepts, APIs, automation workflows, or cloud data platforms is helpful.
