Job description
Provide in-house analytical and programming support for the company’s public eCommerce web site and is responsible for ensuring successful daily site operation without serious interruption. Perform programming tasks according to established departmental standards and thoroughly tests the operation of complete programs and linkage to other programs. Also responsible for creating and maintaining stored procedures and other SQL-based objects as well as providing day-to-day programming support of assigned systems in both the problem solving and new project environments., This position reports to the eCommerce Project Leader and works closely with other members of the Application Development team. Maintains positive business relationships with both internal and external customers., + Code programs in authorized language to meet specifications and to adhere to prescribed standards with minimal supervision.

Assist in small project system design with supervison and review.

Prepare test data and tests coded programs to validate accuracy.

Document programs according to installation standards.

Provide on call support on a rotation schedule.

Keep the Project Leader, eCommerce informed verbally and in writing of activities and problems within assigned area of responsibility and refer matters beyond limits of authority to appropriate parties in a timely manner.

Fulfill administrative reporting requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, experience, and physical obligations:
-
Bachelors Degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
-
Solid understanding of UX and UI design
-
Effective time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, work within assigned deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively to accomplish organizational objectives

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
-
Ability to foster strong, open lines of communication across all levels of the organization
-
Ability to adhere to Edward Don & Company’s standards of conduct policy
Preferred minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, experience, and physical obligations:
-
Required: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication, and time management skills.

Preferred: Academic course work and/or real project experience in Microsoft .NET, SQL, and Javascript technologies. Experience with Git or other version control software is a plus.
