Job description

A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Engineer to join a talented Software Team which forms a key part of a Global Centre of Excellence for Mobile Applications. Domestically and internationally, this team develops applications that are deployed across a range of devices and are designed to enhance public safety. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with the wider team on complex full stack software solutions ensuring scalability and performance. Home Working This role is largely home based but some travel to Glasgow for meetings & team days would be expected.

Requirements

This role requires an excellent programmer, someone with an academic background in Software Engineering / Computer Science and commercial full stack experience with good communication and collaboration skills. Previous experience working in an Agile environment would be highly beneficial alongside technical experience with iOS and Android. Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, React, C#, HTML or CSS would also be sought. Security Clearance Eligibility for UK Security Clearance required.
