Job description

We are seeking an Industrial Test Lead to oversee testing operations, coordinate validation activities, and support quality and performance objectives across industrial projects and systems. This role will be responsible for leading testing initiatives, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project execution., Test Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and manage testing schedules, procedures, and operational plans
  • Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and project phases
  • Ensure testing objectives are completed efficiently and accurately

System Validation

  • Oversee testing and validation of industrial equipment, systems, and processes
  • Review test data and identify operational or performance issues
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and corrective action implementation

Team Leadership

  • Lead and support testing personnel, contractors, and technical teams
  • Provide guidance, training, and operational direction as needed
  • Promote collaboration and accountability throughout testing activities

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure testing activities comply with quality standards and operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and testing records
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance initiatives

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and operational performance
  • Support implementation of best practices and standardized procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on continuous improvement initiatives

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare status updates, performance reports, and project documentation
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and results to leadership and stakeholders
  • Support project planning and operational decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in industrial testing, quality assurance, or systems validation
  • Strong understanding of testing processes, operational standards, and troubleshooting methods
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
  • Proficiency with testing equipment, reporting tools, and technical documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)

  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification
  • OSHA Safety Certification
  • Project Management Certification (PMP)
