Job description

We are hiring Python engineers to support a high-urgency data migration program as part of a recent acquisition. This role is focused on data transformation jobs-extracting flat data from Snowflake, transforming it into nested JSON, and persisting it into DB2 (often as CLOBs) for downstream Java ingestion. This is a Linux, bare-metal, backend-only environment. You will build transformation jobs largely from scratch and operate with minimal supervision under tight delivery milestones., Develop and support Python (3.12.11) ETL/transformation jobs running on Linux

Requirements

5+ years Python for ETL / strong data transformation (not app dev)

Hands-on experience transforming flat relational data into complex nested JSON structures

DB2 & Oracle

SQL

Snowflake (querying, extracting datasets)

experience working in Linux environments Basic conceptual knowledge of LDAP and JWT (awareness only; not implementing auth)

  • Identity / entitlements exposure

  • Payments knowledge - ACH / wires / templates

  • Application Performance Monitoring / Logging software (Dynatrace /Splunk)
