Software Configuration Engineer (Etq) - Intl India

One of Insight Global’s clients is looking for a Software Configuration Engineer (ETQ) to join their team. This engineer will support a data extraction effort within the ETQ system for a business that is separating from its parent organization. This includes identifying and analyzing relevant data within ETQ, navigating the system’s structure and underlying SQL schema to determine what needs to be extracted. This resource will document and validate the appropriate datasets with internal stakeholders before proceeding, then execute the extraction and deliver the data in a structured format such as CSV or Excel. They will work closely with internal teams to review and confirm accuracy of the extracted data prior to final handoff. A critical part of this role is maintaining strict attention to detail and data privacy-ensuring that only data belonging to the separating business is extracted, with no inclusion of data from other entities within the system.

3+ years of experience of ETQ experience

• Strong experience with data extraction, data analysis, and working with SQL databases/schemas

• Experience working with enterprise systems and understanding complex data structures

• Ability to independently analyze systems with limited documentation

• Strong attention to detail, particularly in handling sensitive or restricted data sets

• Experience delivering data in structured formats such as CSV or Excel

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams for validation and approvals - Experience supporting system migrations, data separations, or carve-outs

• Exposure to manufacturing or multi-site business environments
