Artificial Intelligence Code Review Cloud Services

Job description

  • We are looking for a Principal Software engineer to help design and scale our carbon-reducing cloud computing platform
  • Crusoe Cloud is building intuitive, turnkey cloud solutions that simplify AI workload management
  • You’ll play a key role in evaluating tools and frameworks for the engineering team, considering reliability, scalability, operational costs, ease of adoption, and recruiting implications
  • Most importantly, this role will work across the entirety of the engineering organization advocating for forward thinking architecture and customer experience
  • As part of your responsibilities, you’ll develop and refine technical and team fit assessments, mentor engineers, and actively contribute to their development in partnership with engineering managers
  • Collaborate closely with our customer success and product teams to understand the “why” behind our products, not just the “what.”
  • Evaluate new tools and frameworks for the engineering team, considering factors like reliability, scalability, cost, and ease of adoption
  • Advocate for forward-thinking architecture and solutions that reduce duplication, increase efficiency, and establish scalable patterns across the engineering team
  • Get your hands dirty! You’ll be expected to contribute code, write technical architecture documents, and review merge requests
  • Develop and refine technical assessments to aid in our hiring process and mentor other engineers, helping them grow in their careers

Requirements

  • Experience with a wide range of tools and technologies, and the ability to evaluate them for reliability, scalability, operational costs, and other key factors
  • A passion for leading by example and fostering an environment of innovation and high-quality software engineering practices
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across different teams to achieve shared goals and optimize the customer experience
  • The ability to act as a mentor for junior engineers, providing guidance on design proposals and conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality
