Job description

We’re looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to support EMIT Technologies’ core infrastructure, identity management, and security systems. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining stable, secure, and scalable IT environments while serving as a key escalation point for complex technical issues. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system reliability, optimize performance, and support the organization’s long-term growth., * Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Manage Entra ID and Active Directory, including user access, authentication, and group policy administration
  • Design, implement, and enforce Conditional Access policies and security controls
  • Support and maintain Azure, on-premises infrastructure, and cloud-hosted applications
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability of critical services across the organization
  • Implement and maintain security measures, including patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures
  • Contribute to standardization efforts and improve system consistency across environments
  • Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, and reduce support overhead
  • Support ongoing infrastructure improvements and technology initiatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vulnerability management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure roles

  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Solid understanding of identity and access management (IAM) and security best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, or Security+ are a plus
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
