Job description

The Web Services .NET / C# Developer supports the design, development, enhancement, and sustainment of enterprise Air Force systems. This role focuses on building secure, scalable web services and APIs using .NET, C#, and Azure cloud technologies.

  • Design, develop, and maintain web services and APIs using C# and .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+).
  • Develop and support SOAP and RESTful services for system integration.
  • Implement secure service endpoints aligned with DoD RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Deploy and manage Azure resources using ARM templates and infrastructure as code.
  • Integrate services with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across DevSecOps teams.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Service-oriented architecture?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * 5+ years of professional .NET and C# development experience.

  • Experience building SOAP and RESTful web services.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of service-oriented and distributed architectures.
  • Database integration using SQL Server and/or Oracle.

Background

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of IT experience, Associate’s degree with 7 years, or High School diploma with 9 years of relevant IT experience.

  • Must maintain DoD 8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
