Job description

As an Offnet Project Manager, you are responsible for coordinating the implementation of third-party (off-net) circuits, IRUs, and colocation connectivity that support new market launches and network expansion initiatives. Acting as the primary liaison between telecommunications vendors and internal Network Operations, OSP, and Implementation teams, this role manages multiple concurrent projects from signed service order through implementation. The Offnet Project Manager monitors project timelines, coordinates vendor activities, removes implementation roadblocks, maintains accurate network documentation, and helps ensure third-party network connectivity is delivered on schedule to support successful new market launches and ongoing network expansion., * Project Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of off-net circuits, IRUs, and colocation connectivity supporting new market launches and network expansion initiatives.
  • Coordinate implementation timelines across internal teams and third-party providers.
  • Track 100+ concurrent implementation projects through completion.
  • Vendor Management
  • Lead recurring meetings with telecommunications providers to review project status and delivery commitments.
  • Escalate delayed service orders to maintain project timelines.
  • Coordinate vendor access to Metronet facilities.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews with vendors to improve delivery performance.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with OSP, Network Implementation, Engineering, and other internal teams to ensure facilities, power, fiber, equipment, and vendor access are aligned to meet implementation timelines.
  • Schedule site walks to validate meet points.
  • Provide implementation status updates during new market meetings.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain accurate project status in Jira.
  • Create and maintain network records within MetaSolv.
  • Order cross-connects at colocation facilities.
  • Maintain accurate implementation documentation and project records throughout the deployment lifecycle.
  • Travel to Evansville IN twice a year
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience in telecommunications, fiber, ISP, carrier, or related infrastructure industries strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing or coordinating multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience coordinating circuit implementations, network deployments, or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with external vendors or service providers.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including coordinating timelines, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project management software preferred.
  • Experience with MetaSolv or comparable telecom inventory/documentation systems preferred.
  • Experience reading network documentation or working with network infrastructure teams preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using Visio, Google Earth, or similar mapping and documentation tools preferred.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors
  • Willingness to work as a team and independently.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
