Job description
- Provide functional support to Finance users across Workday Financials and Travel & Expense.
- Investigate finance process issues and identify system-based solutions to improve efficiency and control.
- Support month-end, reporting and transactional processes by ensuring the finance system operates effectively.
- Work with stakeholders across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions to resolve queries and improve user experience.
- Participate in testing activities for system enhancements, releases and future country deployments.
- Assist with training, user guidance and documentation to support ongoing adoption of Workday Financials.
- Liaise with technical teams and external partners where system configuration changes or integration support is required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Workday?, * Accounting background with strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
- Experience working with Workday Financials, either in a support, super-user, systems accountant or finance transformation capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Experience supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Ability to bridge the gap between finance stakeholders and technical teams.

Following successful Workday Financials deployments across several European entities, the organisation is now entering the next phase of its global rollout programme, with multiple countries scheduled to go live over the coming months. As adoption of Workday Financials continues to expand, the business is investing in its internal support capability to ensure a stable, scalable, and well-governed finance systems landscape.
These newly created positions will play a key role in supporting Workday Financials, Travel & Expense, and associated integrations, while helping to maintain global standards, support end users, and contribute to future deployment activities.
As a Workday Financials Support Accountant, you will combine your finance expertise with systems knowledge to support users and processes operating within Workday Financials. This role is ideal for a qualified or part-qualified accountant who enjoys working at the intersection of finance operations and technology, helping to optimise processes and drive adoption of a modern cloud ERP platform.
