Job description
We are looking for a Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Architect to become a critical part of the team helping to deliver major change and transformation for our business customers. The role will support technical design activities across the context of both IT and OT.
You will
- Produce high- and low-level architecture design artefacts for BAU and project change across multiple business areas.
- Define and maintain GTS technology roadmaps aligned to ABC models across IT and OT, supporting wider IT strategy.
- Create and maintain architecture patterns, reference architectures, and reusable infrastructure service designs.
- Translate functional and non-functional business requirements into effective, secure, and scalable architecture solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture teams, third-party providers, and stakeholders as a trusted advisor, supporting delivery, mentoring, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TOGAF?, * Previous experience operating in a design architecture role.
- Strong understanding of Cloud and Infrastructure technologies across IT and OT environments, including Purdue levels.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms, with experience designing on-premise, off-premise, and hybrid architecture solutions.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and development methods such as TOGAF or Zachman, alongside recognised regulatory and security frameworks such as ISO, NIST, and NCSC CAF.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a pragmatic, business-focused approach to enabling requirements.
