Job description

  • Own and drive the overall programme plan, ensuring successful delivery across all workstreams including data migration, integrations, configuration, reporting, testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Establish and maintain detailed project plans with clear accountability on the project team, critical paths, dependencies, milestones, resource plans, and delivery schedules.
  • Lead programme governance, ensuring appropriate controls, reporting, decision-making forums, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, vendors, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery against agreed timelines.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and resolve delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.

  • Oversee requirements gathering activities across business, functional, technical, reporting, integration, and data workstreams.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly documented, reviewed, validated, and formally approved and signed off by the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ensure scope is controlled and that change management processes are followed throughout the programme lifecycle.

  • Drive delivery through Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as appropriate.

  • Possess a strong understanding of data migration methodologies and best practices.
  • Oversee data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, upload, and migration activities from legacy systems into Oracle.
  • Manage complex upstream and downstream integrations and monitor associated dependencies.

  • Ensure all major project deliverables, requirements, designs, testing outcomes, and deployment activities are formally reviewed and signed off.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across People & Culture, IT, Payroll, other areas and external vendors.
  • Provide clear communication on progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technology Programme Manager with 10+ years of experience leading large-scale technology transformation and integration programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of complex global Oracle HCM migrations, ensuring strong governance, high-quality delivery, robust project controls, and successful business adoption across multiple regions.

This role requires deep expertise in programme management, requirements management, data migration, systems integration, testing cycles, deployment planning, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technology delivery best practices and be capable of leading cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle. The role also requires rigorous governance, project planning, progress tracking, risk management, and documentation management practices., * Minimum 10 years’’ experience delivering large-scale technology transformation, and proven experience implementing projects from initiation through to post-go-live support.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end project delivery lifecycle, governance frameworks, and programme management methodologies.
  • Extensive experience managing requirements gathering, validation, traceability, and business sign-off processes.
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex global stakeholder groups and third-party vendors.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar delivery management tools., * Bachelor’’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Project Management certification required such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM or Oracle HCM implementation experience is a plus.
