Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Commissioning (Cx) Manager to lead commissioning activities on mission-critical data center projects. This role is responsible for managing commissioning teams, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring electrical and mechanical systems are tested, validated, and delivered in accordance with project requirements., * Lead commissioning activities on mission-critical data center projects.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
- Oversee testing of electrical and mechanical systems, including:
- Switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution.
- Chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, QA/QC teams, and clients.
- Review and approve commissioning documentation, including test scripts, functional checklists, and final reports.
- Ensure systems meet design intent, performance requirements, and client expectations.
- Identify and resolve issues throughout the commissioning process.
- Manage project schedules and commissioning milestones.
- Promote and enforce all site safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team leadership?, * 5+ years of commissioning experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience leading commissioning teams and managing projects.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) or equivalent (preferred)
- OSHA 30
- NFPA 70E
- PMP certification is a plus
