Job description

The IT Integrations Manager is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and modernization of enterprise integrations across both legacy (mainframe) systems and modern application platforms.

This role will initially oversee a team supporting mainframe-based integrations, ensuring stability, reliability, and continuity of business-critical data flows. In parallel, the role will transition into leading a modern enterprise integrations and .NET development team, driving API-based integrations, data platform connectivity, and reporting/analytics enablement (e.g., Power BI).

This leader will play a key role in bridging legacy and future-state architectures, enabling the organization’s transition toward a scalable, cloud-enabled integration and data ecosystem., 1. Integration Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and execute the enterprise integration strategy spanning legacy and modern platforms
  • Establish integration patterns (APIs, messaging, ETL, event-driven) and standards
  • Partner with Data & Analytics leadership to align integrations with data lake and reporting initiatives
  1. Legacy System Leadership (Interim) * Lead the team supporting mainframe/legacy integrations and interfaces * Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of existing integrations * Document and rationalize current-state integrations and dependencies * Develop a roadmap for coexistence, simplification, and eventual decommissioning of legacy systems

  2. Modern Integration & .NET Leadership (Future State) * Transition into leadership of a .NET-based integrations and development team * Oversee development of APIs, services, and integration components (.NET, C#, Web APIs) * Drive modernization toward reusable, scalable integration services * Align development efforts with enterprise architecture and cloud platform (Azure preferred)

  3. Data Platform & Reporting Integration * Enable integration with enterprise data platforms (data lake, Azure SQL, etc.) * Support ingestion pipelines for analytics and reporting use cases * Collaborate with Power BI and analytics teams to deliver reliable, governed data flows * Improve data quality, consistency, and governance across systems

  4. Integration Delivery & Platform Management * Oversee APIs, middleware, ETL pipelines, and system interfaces * Manage integration lifecycle (design, build, deploy, monitor, optimize) * Ensure performance, scalability, and observability of integrations * Support SQL Server and data integration performance tuning

  5. Team Leadership & Transition Management

Lead a hybrid team of:

  • Legacy/mainframe integration resources (short-term)
  • Modern integration engineers and .NET developers (long-term)
  • Drive transition planning from legacy skillsets to modern integration capabilities
  • Manage Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, and capacity planning
  1. Governance, Security & Compliance * Establish integration governance, standards, and documentation practices * Ensure secure data movement and adherence to enterprise policies * Implement monitoring, logging, and auditing for integrations

  2. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with:

  • Enterprise Applications
  • Data & Analytics teams
  • Business stakeholders
  • External vendors/partners
  • Act as the primary IT leader for integration-related initiatives and decisions, * Ensures continuity of critical legacy operations
  • Enables transition to a modern, scalable integration architecture
  • Acts as a key bridge between enterprise applications, integrations, and analytics
  • Directly supports AAON’s future-state data and reporting capabilities

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web services design?, * 10 + years in IT with strong experience in systems integration and application development

  • Experience supporting legacy/mainframe systems and integrations
  • Experience with modern integration technologies (APIs, ETL, middleware)
  • Strong background in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs)
  • Strong experience with SQL Server , ETL and data integration concepts
  • Experience leading technical teams across both legacy and modern environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating ERP platforms (SAP, D365 , etc.)
  • Experience supporting data lake or analytics ecosystems
  • Experience with Power BI or enterprise reporting platforms
  • Experience with integration platform tools (iPaaS, messaging frameworks)
