Java Developer

We are a small business in Long Branch, NJ. with clients in the Tri-State area. We have an urgent need to move forward ASAP. Our company has earned a great reputation offering an exceptional event experience for corporations, event planners and non-profit organizations. We have accomplished this by innovating a proprietary process for producing paper flipbooks, and then going on to develop a software program that allows us to offer both paper flipbooks and animated digital flipping books that can be shared via text and email. We are currently in the process of updating and enhancing our program. We may also revise the licensing/subscription payment process.

We have an Angular and Electron app for Windows & MacOS. We are looking for a Java Angular developer with Electron and Firebase experience to complete the current application since our developer is no longer available. We’re looking for a candidate that will work with us to complete the current version of our software and ideally go on to work with us to develop additional apps that are in the planning phase. Experience with video and graphics is a plus. We anticipate it will take one to three weeks to complete this project. A New Jersey resident is preferred.

Responsibilities

· Implement performance improvements to ensure the program runs smoothly

· User interface enhancements to improve the overall user experience

· Change some of the graphics

· Provide functional builds for both Windows and MacOS

· Update Stripe and Twilio integration

Do you have experience in Windows?, · Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java programming language.

· Solid understanding of IT infrastructure concepts

· Hands-on experience with web development frameworks like JavaScript.

· Familiarity with version control tools including GitHub,

· Experience working with Angular, Electron, Full Stack, Node.js, TypeScript and Firebase

· Multi-language programming skills including C, C++, C# in addition to Java is a plus
