$75/hour | Technical Security Systems Specialist | Grow Your Career!

• Coordinate with Critical Infrastructure Protection, Physical Security Specialists, and other key stakeholders to ensure regulatory technical requirements and company standards are met
• Act as the technical security representative on projects related to physical security technology
• Perform site visits to identify or verify existing conditions, ensure compatibility with the proposed security system design, and verify progress and quality of completed work
• Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements
• Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and complete necessary repairs to maintain system functionality. Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material
• On-Call one week per month, flexibility within your weekly schedule, and the capacity to work overtime

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Server administration?, * Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 certification

• Experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems (i.e. CCTV, Access Control Systems, badge access readers).
• Understanding of network components and workstation and server operating system management, IP addressing and subnetting, IP video network transmission, and factors that impact video rates and quality. and basic switch, router, and firewall principles
• Ability to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment.
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience:

• Extensive Access Control experience
• Certifications in Lendl S2, Genetec, or CCure
• 7+ years’ experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems
• Ability to read/understand design and construction documents
