Data Center Technician

• Pull, terminate, test, and label data cabling (fiber optic experience is a plus)
• Terminate data jacks and patch panels
• Install cable racks, j-hooks, inner duct, and related components
• Set up ladder racks, networking, and telephone equipment
• Troubleshoot and test equipment and cabling
• Follow instructions from the Lead Technician
• Data Center technicians running, dressing and labeling fibers across various buildings in the region
• Possible breaks between projects if open to travel will be moved to other areas to stay busy between the local projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/move items up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, kneel, and crawl for extended periods
• Climb ladders/stairs and operate lifts
• Use hands, eyes, and feet in coordination
• Work safely in physically demanding environments
