Job description

Help students work through coding projects and programming challenges
Guide kids through the Code Ninjas CREATE curriculum
Assist students with debugging and problem solving
Encourage persistence and confidence when kids get stuck
Help maintain a positive and fun learning environment

Requirements

Do you have experience in Working with children?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Experience working with kids (teaching, tutoring, camps, coaching, etc.)

Interest or background in computer science, programming, robotics, or STEM
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple way
Reliable, positive, and patient

Programming experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided.

About the company

Code Ninjas Lowry is hiring a part-time Coding Instructor (Sensei) to help teach kids programming in a fun and supportive environment.

This is a great opportunity for computer science, engineering, or education students who enjoy working with kids and want hands-on teaching experience.

At Code Ninjas, kids ages 7-14 learn to code by building video games through our structured CREATE program, which teaches real programming concepts such as logic, debugging, problem solving, and game development.

We’re looking for someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and excited about helping kids build confidence through coding.
