Job description

  • Install and Terminate cabling for networks
  • Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Installation on VoIP phones and equipment
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
  • Operate vehicle and tools in a safe manner

Requirements

Join our dynamic team as a Telecom/Network Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and enhancing our customers Phone and Data networks! In this role, you will be responsible for installing network infrastructure such as wiring, switches, routers firewalls and phones. The ideal candidate will be a competent individual with great passion for technology. An analytical mindset will be essential for effective troubleshooting and implementing the network’s functions. We are looking for a self-starter Field service technician to deliver a high level customer service experience. We are a small local company making big differences for our customers. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while making a tangible impact on daily operations., * Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and IT components
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Self motivated individual
  • Ability to work on ladders and lifts
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Ability to perform physical labor and handle power tools
  • Learning skills by previous experience, reading equipment documentation and verbal instruction, * Do you have a clean and safe driving record?
  • Can you lift more than 50lbs above head height?
  • Do you have a fear of heights or any issue working on ladders or scissor lifts?

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Network Wiring: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hands on IT Support: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CompTIA A+ or Other IT/Networking Certifications (Preferred)
