IT Support Specialist

Pinnacle Freight Systems is seeking a motivated, dependable, and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or advance a career in Information Technology while gaining hands-on experience supporting a fast-paced transportation and logistics operation.

No prior logistics experience is required. We will train the right candidate.

You’ll work directly with office staff, dispatchers, warehouse personnel, drivers, and management to ensure the technology that keeps freight moving remains reliable and efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Provide first-level technical support to office, dispatch, customer service, and warehouse personnel
• Troubleshoot computer, printer, software, email, and network issues
• Set up and maintain user accounts, passwords, and system access
• Install, configure, and update desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software applications
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and user productivity tools
• Assist with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), dispatch software, and ELD platforms
• Support tablets, scanners, and mobile devices used by drivers and warehouse personnel
• Monitor Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and shared technology resources
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, system updates, and data backup procedures
• Document support requests, solutions, and IT procedures
• Coordinate with technology vendors for advanced support issues

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Required

• Strong interest in Information Technology
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and systemsIT

Preferred (Not Required)

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Basic networking knowledge
• Exposure to cybersecurity concepts
• Previous customer service, technical support, or help desk experience
