Lead Senior Project Manager (E-Commerce & Retail)

We are seeking a Lead Senior Project Manager to lead complex E-Commerce and Retail digital transformation initiatives for a fast-growing digital commerce and creative strategy firm. This is a full-time, fully remote position focused on managing large-scale digital product and delivery programs for global retail and consumer brands.

The role combines program leadership, client engagement, Agile delivery management, and team leadership, with a strong emphasis on modern commerce platforms, omnichannel customer experiences, replatforming initiatives, and measurable business outcomes including conversion optimization and revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

• Lead large-scale E-Commerce and Retail digital programs with multiple cross-functional workstreams and stakeholders
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and delivery quality across complex client engagements
• Serve as the primary engagement lead responsible for delivery performance, client satisfaction, and business outcomes
• Lead digital commerce initiatives including E-Commerce platform implementations, replatforming efforts, checkout optimization, merchandising, and personalization initiatives
• Partner with clients to modernize digital storefronts and improve customer journeys and conversion performance
• Support product strategy, roadmap development, product discovery, and KPI definition aligned to business goals
• Facilitate Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional coordination
• Mentor and coach Product Managers across Agile execution, stakeholder communication, delivery management, and product discovery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive leadership teams
• Translate business requirements into scalable digital product and platform solutions
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Design, Marketing, Data, and Customer Success teams
• Participate in pre-sales activities including estimation, proposals, solution planning, and Statement of Work (SOW) development
• Contribute to delivery process improvements, operational best practices, and practice growth initiatives

• 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Product Management, or digital delivery leadership roles
• Proven experience leading large-scale Agile software delivery programs with cross-functional teams
• Strong background managing E-Commerce, Retail, or digital commerce initiatives
• Experience working directly with executive-level stakeholders and client-facing engagements
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
• Experience with backlog management, prioritization, product lifecycle management, and roadmap planning
• Strong understanding of modern digital commerce platforms and customer experience optimization
• Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to support product and business decisions
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity and lead within fast-paced, evolving delivery environments
• Experience partnering with technical teams to define scope, delivery plans, and scalable solutions
• Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution and delivery management
• Familiarity with AI tools supporting product delivery, personalization, or digital optimization initiatives

• Experience with Shopify, Magento, or custom E-Commerce platform implementations
• Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, or other modern web technologies
• Background in omnichannel retail or direct-to-consumer (DTC) business environments
• Consulting or digital agency experience
