Job description

We are seeking a strong IT Operations Engineer to support our Platform One Iron Bank program. Iron Bank will be the DoD hardened container repository. The contractor will deploy a variety of tools (as directed by the government lead) on top of the Platform One Big Bang baseline, then maintain, and operate that software. Iron Bank consists of Repo1, which contains the container manifests and container build instructions for the hardened containers; registry1, a fully Open Container Initiative (OCI)-compliant container registry that allows users to pull hardened containers; pipeline infrastructure to automatically build and assess containers; and two custom applications: the Iron Bank Front End (IBFE) that provides a modern interface to search for containers and the VAT, where container hardeners can see the vulnerabilities found in their containers and provide responses such as arguing that a finding is a false positive or providing a remediation timeline. Iron Bank also maintains all the associated documentation regarding container hardening standards, findings, and processes. Finally, Iron Bank will maintain an active Authority to Operate (ATO) for all the components listed above.
