Join an established enterprise communications company at an exciting inflection point - where a mature, battle-tested platform meets a bold new wave of innovation. We’re building our developer advocacy function and looking for an engineer-minded communicator who can bridge the gap between our UCaaS API platform and the developers, partners, and clients who build on top of it. You’ll play a role in that effort - building demo applications, presenting to clients, and crafting the documentation for partners and developers to integrate with our platform. If you love the craft of engineering but get just as energized explaining it, this role was built for you. API Documentation
- Write and maintain developer-facing API documentation for new and existing features
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to gain deep understanding of platform capabilities
- Translate technical implementation details into clear, accurate, and useful documentation for external developers
- Create code examples, guides, and reference material that accelerate developer onboarding
Client Presentations
- Present demo applications to clients, system integrators, and technology partners
- Clearly explain REST API concepts and integration patterns to both technical and semi-technical audiences
- Represent the engineering team in client-facing settings with confidence and clarity
Demo Development
- Build demo applications that show case real-world use cases of our UCaaS REST API
- Create and showcase demo extension applications for our Horizon platform using our UI SDK integration tool
- Work directly with clients to help them understand, adopt, and get the most out of Horizon extension apps
- Maintain and iterate on demos based on client feedback and new API features

Maintain a strong security posture by adhering to all company information security policies and procedures.

This includes, but is not limited to, protecting customer data from unauthorized access, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to established availability protocols, and participating in mandatory annual security awareness training.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Essential Skills
- Solid engineering fundamentals with the ability to understand, consume, and explain REST APIs
- Hands-on experience building applications that integrate with third-party APIs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting technical concepts to clients and partners
Professional Excellence
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple workstreams
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to clear, accurate technical writing
- Collaborative - able to work with engineers to extract and communicate deep technical knowledge
- Confident public speaker who can engage diverse audiences
Bonus Points
- UCaaS, VoIP, SIP or telecommunications experience
- Prior experience writing API documentation or developer guides
- Developer relations or technical advocacy background
Benefits & conditions
$100,000 - $120,000 a year - Full-time, * Creative freedom building demo applications on a rich UCaaS API platform
