Job description
- Load, test, and document control programs, DSP files, and touch panel configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system integration issues
- Configure and deploy collaboration platforms from manufacturers such as Neat, Logitech, Poly, and Cisco
- Support installation teams with system commissioning, testing, and final verification
- Conduct end-user training on AV control systems, conferencing platforms, and software interfaces
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams throughout system design, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain configuration standards, documentation, and best practices
- Mentor junior integration specialists and provide technical guidance as needed
Requirements

Our growing technology integration client is seeking an experienced AV Systems Integration Specialist to join its team in the Boston, MA area. This hybrid position is ideal for an AV professional who enjoys a combination of hands-on technical work, system configuration, troubleshooting, and field deployment. You’ll work with cutting-edge audio-visual technologies while collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality integrated AV solutions for commercial clients., * Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial AV installation, integration, commissioning, or service
- AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, CQT, or similar certifications preferred
- Strong experience with Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, or comparable AV platforms
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other collaboration technologies
- Experience with AV design software, control systems, and configuration tools; programming experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals; networking certifications or formal training preferred
- Hands-on experience with projectors, displays, video walls, rack wiring, structured cabling, and rigging
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, crimpers, soldering equipment, and aerial lifts
- Experience with DSP programming, audio tuning, and system optimization preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
