Job description

  • Lead end to end network design and optimization: Own projects from modeling and scenario analysis through implementation.
  • Develop and maintain optimization models: Build, calibrate, and improve decision support models for network performance.
  • Turn data into improvement: Analyze large datasets to identify inefficiencies and drive actionable, continuous improvements in cost, service levels, and capacity utilization.
  • Run multiple programs to plan: Ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met across concurrent initiatives.
  • Advance tools and communicate with clarity: Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and methodologies for network optimization, and present insights, recommendations, and business cases to senior and executive leaders.
  • Measure what matters: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor network health and efficiency.

  • Paid sick time, Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $125,000 - $188,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Employment Logistics: The Industrial Engineer is in charge of leading network design and optimization across OnTrac’s network, analyzing and continuously improving performance to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support scalable growth. The role leads end to end initiatives: from modeling and scenario analysis through implementation, in close partnership with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Linehaul, and Technology.
