Job description
NextPoint Advisory is seeking a Senior Power Platform Specialist to support a large-scale Microsoft Power Platform environment within a leading healthcare organization.
This role is focused on platform governance, Dataverse administration, licensing optimization, operational stabilization, environment strategy, security controls, and platform remediation across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft Power Platform services.
This is not a traditional Power Apps Developer role. We are seeking a hands-on administrator and governance specialist with experience supporting enterprise Power Platform environments at scale.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise Power Platform governance and operational maturity initiatives.
- Perform Dataverse assessments, capacity analysis, storage optimization, and remediation activities.
- Analyze platform usage, licensing consumption, premium connector exposure, and environment growth trends.
- Implement and support Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit components.
- Support platform inventory management, lifecycle management, cleanup, and governance reporting.
- Define and maintain environment strategies across Development, Test, QA, Sandbox, and Production environments.
- Develop governance standards, operational procedures, and platform administration documentation.
- Support DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policy design, implementation, and enforcement.
- Review environment ownership, security models, service principals, and application registrations.
- Coordinate with Security, Identity & Access Management, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Business teams.
- Support Copilot Studio governance, AI enablement controls, and platform adoption initiatives.
- Assist with tenant administration, platform monitoring, and Microsoft support escalations.
- Identify opportunities to optimize licensing, reduce platform sprawl, and improve governance maturity.
Requirements
- Must currently reside and work within the United States.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be available for periodic onsite meetings in Dallas, Texas.
- Background check and drug screening required.
- Final candidates may be subject to employment verification and professional reference checks.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Compliance, and Information Protection.
- Familiarity with Power Platform ALM best practices.
- Microsoft Certifications such as PL-900, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, AZ-104, or SC-300 preferred.
Benefits & conditions
Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
