Job description

Skilled Tableau Developer with 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Data Engineering. The candidate should have strong expertise in Tableau, AWS, Python, and PySpark for designing scalable reporting solutions and transforming large datasets into actionable business insights. The candidate must have experience working in both onsite and offshore delivery models, collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders., * Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and scorecards.

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective visualization solutions.
  • Develop and optimize complex Tableau workbooks, calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, and dashboard actions.
  • Build and maintain ETL/data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark.
  • Work with structured and semi-structured data from multiple data sources.
  • Integrate Tableau with AWS-based data platforms such as Amazon S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, Athena, and EMR.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality.
  • Optimize dashboard performance and improve query execution times.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and production support.
  • Follow BI development standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Work effectively across onsite and offshore teams to deliver projects within timelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau Development.
  • Strong experience developing Tableau dashboards and visual analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark for big data processing.
  • Experience working with AWS Cloud Services, including:
  • Amazon S3
  • Amazon Redshift
  • AWS Glue
  • Amazon Athena
  • AWS EMR
  • AWS Lambda (preferred)
  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools.
