Job description
- Design and build user-facing authentication components including login pages, multi-factor authentication flows, and account recovery experiences across web, Android, and iOS
- Develop and maintain SDKs and UI libraries that integrate with underlying identity vendor services (Transmit, Ping, Arcus Labs, ThreatMetrix, and others)
- Contribute to the identity Abstraction Layer, a vendor-agnostic library that decouples application teams from specific identity vendor SDKs
- Collaborate with identity architects, backend API teams, and security engineers to ensure UI implementations align with authentication protocols and security requirements
- Implement passkey and passwordless flows using FIDO2/WebAuthn standards
- Build with forward compatibility in mind to support credential consolidation across multiple products and business lines over time
- Maintain documentation for components, integration guides, and change requests in alignment with enterprise change management policies
- Support testing, accessibility compliance, and performance optimization across all platforms
Requirements
Do you have experience in Identity and access management (IAM) solutions?, We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Developer with a background in authentication and identity workflows to join a large, complex enterprise organization on a contract basis. You will be part of a team building a next-generation, centralized authentication platform from the ground up, owning all user-facing login and identity flows across web, Android, and iOS. This role is well-suited for someone accustomed to the governance and change management demands of a large global organization, and who understands the unique UX and security requirements of authentication surfaces. Experience in banking/financial services or other highly regulated industries is a big plus., * 4+ years of experience in front-end or mobile UI development
- Proficiency in React for web development; experience with React Native, native Android (Kotlin/Java), or native iOS (Swift) for mobile
- Hands-on experience building or integrating with authentication flows: login, MFA, SSO, OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, or SAML
- Familiarity with identity or authentication SDKs (any vendor: Ping, Transmit, Okta, ForgeRock, Auth0, or similar)
- Understanding of security principles as they apply to UI: token handling, session management, secure storage on mobile
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments at Fortune 150 scale or equivalent; exposure to regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables with limited day-to-day supervision, * Experience with passkeys or FIDO2/WebAuthn implementations
- Familiarity with Transmit Security or Ping Identity products
- Experience building shared UI component libraries or SDK wrapper layers
- Exposure to centralized authentication or single sign-on architecture patterns
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards
- Prior work in financial services, online banking, or other high-stakes consumer-facing digital products is a plus
