Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to assist with the management, optimization, and security of our enterprise IT infrastructure. In this dynamic role, you will participate in data center operations, ensure system reliability, and implement innovative solutions to support business growth. Your expertise in system architecture, virtualization, network security, and cloud platforms will drive operational excellence and enhance our technological capabilities. Join us to be at the forefront of cutting-edge IT infrastructure management, ensuring seamless service delivery and robust system performance., * Manage and maintain data center hardware including servers, storage systems, controllers, and networking equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.

  • Design, implement, and support scalable system architectures utilizing virtualization technologies .
  • Administer operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments, ensuring system stability through regular updates, patches, and security configurations.
  • Configure and manage network components such as firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, load balancers, and RESTful APIs to secure data flow across infrastructure.
  • Implement security best practices by managing information security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to design service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions that integrate cloud services like AWS and Azure with on-premises systems.
  • Monitor system health with data center security, server administration, server builds, OS upgrades, vulnerability management, and platform administration.
  • Support database administration tasks involving Windows server management, license monitoring, DNS security and replication, as well as GPO management.
  • Lead efforts in system design for microservices architecture supporting scalable applications .

Requirements

Do you have experience in IT?, * Proven experience in system administration within enterprise data centers or large-scale IT environments.

  • Strong knowledge of RAID controller management and hardware troubleshooting techniques.
  • Extensive experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in operating systems including Windows Server, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS), UNIX variants.
  • Hands-on expertise with scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), Python or PowerShell for automation purposes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for hybrid cloud solutions integration.
  • Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, load balancing techniques, firewalls, VPNs & REST APIs.
  • Experience designing scalable solutions using microservices architecture with knowledge of solution architecture principles.
  • Knowledge of information security best practices including firewall management and access controls to protect enterprise assets.
  • Ability to work within Agile development environments employing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Strong background in database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle PL/SQL with performance tuning skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to system maintenance and upgrades.
