Senior Financial Software Developer

• Develop, enhance, and modernize financial accounting and forecasting applications.
• Improve forecasting engine performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely results.
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and reduce technical debt.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software using modern engineering practices.
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, and technical teams to deliver new forecasting and reporting capabilities.
• Support platform upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and technology adoption initiatives.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.

Do you have a valid Chartered Financial Analyst certification?, Do you have experience in Software engineering?, * 5+ years of software development experience using Python, Java, or similar modern programming languages.

• Strong SQL and relational database development skills.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.
• Proficiency with shell scripting and application support.
• Understanding of fixed-income concepts, including duration, convexity, spread, and OAS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills., * Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• CFA, FRM, CPA, or progress toward certification.
• Experience gathering requirements and collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Jira and related project management tools.
