Job description

  • Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, software, peripheral, and network connectivity issues.
  • User Management: Handle password resets, account provisioning, and access management. Resolving user issues and updating documentation.
  • Installation & Configuration: Set up new workstations, install software, and configure operating systems (Windows PC/Windows Server) to include new employee onboarding or updating current work stations.
  • Remote Assistance: Utilize remote desktop tools to assist users in offsite or remote locations.
  • Maintenance & Security: Perform regular system checks, patch management, and ensure security policies are followed. Running system diagnostics on workstations or servers.
  • Training: Provide basic training to end-users on new software, hardware, and procedures.
  • Reviewing and prioritizing user requests/issues or support items.
  • Perform additional IT related tasks and assignments as needed, per IS Manager’s direction.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, Hazard Construction Companies is seeking a IT Specialist/Help Desk Technician with 1-3 years of experience in a corporate environment. Candidate will provide technical support, resolve hardware/software issues, and manage user accounts via phone, email, or in-person. As well as install systems, maintain networks, and document solutions to ensure business continuity.

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication, hardware and software troubleshooting, customer service skills and technical proficiency., * Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, MS Office/Microsoft 365, and networking basics (TCP/IP, VPN).

  • Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and solve problems under pressure. Ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills. The ability to provide clear instructions to non-technical users.

All Hazard Construction positions require satisfactory completion of a physical ability test and clean drug and alcohol screening.
