Job description

We are seeking a Data Center Physical Security Engineer to support the physical security operations of our data center facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, ensuring compliance with access control procedures, and protecting personnel and company assets.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enforce physical security policies and procedures within the data center.
  • Manage employee, visitor, contractor, and vendor access to the facility.
  • Monitor and control the movement of assets, equipment, and materials entering and leaving the site.
  • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and other operational issues.
  • Conduct routine security inspections and identify potential risks.
  • Coordinate with Facilities, Operations, IT, and other internal teams to support security objectives.
  • Work with third-party security vendors to ensure compliance with site requirements.
  • Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist with security audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience in Physical Security, Security Operations, Facilities Management, Property Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of access control, visitor management, and security procedures.
  • Experience working in data centers, critical facilities, corporate security, or other high-security environments is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and incident response capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and security monitoring platforms.
  • Experience managing security vendors or contract security personnel.
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and security compliance requirements.
