- Taking Business requirements and translating to Technical database and ETL requirements and specs

- Test Data Management, Data Analyst gathers user requirements for database changes, analyzes database requirements, creates specifications for the ETL team to load the data to the database, participates in functional design sessions, creates and executes test scripts for the load of the database, and aids in the escalation/resolution of data issues.
Requirements
The candidate must be familiar with the development lifecycle and must be proficient in querying databases via SQL or other tools. Skills: 1) Expertise with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 2) Ability to translate high level business requirements into database and ETL requirements (source to target mappings) 3) Ability to document business processes 4) Knowledge of SQL for querying databases 5) Excellent communication skills 6) Strong analytical skills. 7) Ability to multitask is critical 8) Knowledge of testing tools such as Mercury Quality Center or HP Quality Center desired Education/Work Experience: 1) Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field 2) Professional certification(s) desired 15+ years software development experience with experience with projects of similar scope and complexity.
