Job description

We are expanding our Cloud Operations team and are seeking a Cloud Operations Architecture Lead who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities. In this role, you will act as the primary escalation point for complex cloud issues while driving operational excellence and structured delivery across the team. You will guide engineers, coordinate cloud infrastructure improvements, and partner with engineering, product, and architecture to ensure scalable, reliable services. This position is ideal for a senior technical professional who enjoys mentoring others while shaping how cloud operations evolve., * Act as the primary escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure, reliability, and performance issues

  • Plan, coordinate, and drive cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives using structured, iterative delivery approaches

  • Facilitate team workflows (planning, standups, retrospectives) to ensure alignment and effective delivery

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize cloud environments through automation and best practices

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to align priorities and delivery timelines

  • Drive continuous improvement, including adoption of new technologies and cost optimization strategies

  • Mentor and coach engineers, supporting technical growth and fostering a strong team culture

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and distributed systems

  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve advanced issues across distributed systems, requiring deep knowledge of cloud services, networking, automation, and platform dependencies

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and drive cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives using structured, iterative delivery practices

  • Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a technical or team leadership capacity, * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical and business needs

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Ability to simplify complex topics and drive alignment across stakeholders

Benefits & conditions

The expected base salary range for this position is approximately $120,000-$160,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and work location, and the range may vary for candidates based in different states.
