Job description
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Applications Specialist to join our Operations team. This role is critical to the successful installation, validation, and ongoing support of chemistry analyzers (Biolis c270, ImmTox, AU480) at Thrive 365 Labs locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with clinical analyzer setup, validation, and troubleshooting, along with a passion for training lab staff and ensuring regulatory compliance., * Parameter Configuration: Configure analyte-specific parameters and test panels for chemical analysis.
- Testing & Validation: Oversee full or cross-validation protocols, including accuracy, precision, limits of detection, interference testing, and sample stability studies.
- Application Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first-line technical support for instrument errors, calibration issues, or software problems, escalating as needed.
- Training: Train local lab staff on analyzer operations, daily controls, quality control logs, sample handling, and basic troubleshooting.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to CLIA, COLA, and CAP standards, maintaining accurate validation logs and SOPs.
- Inventory & Reporting: Monitor reagent and control inventory, prepare validation packets, and submit weekly usage reports.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Laboratory instrument validation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in biology?, * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with clinical analyzer setup and validation preferred.
- Familiarity with Biolis c270, and AU systems such as 480, 680, etc.. preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to train diverse teams.
- Experience with LIS/EMR integration workflows (e.g., HL7 configurations).
- Knowledge of CLIA, COLA, or CAP regulatory standards is a plus.
- Ability to travel to installation sites as needed.
