Job description
The Associate Computer Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting basic production and assembly operations, including labeling, packaging, functional testing, and simple system setup. This role follows established procedures and works under close guidance to ensure product quality and timely order fulfillment. The position plays a key supporting role in improving production efficiency by enabling senior technicians to focus on more complex assembly tasks., * Basic Assembly & Testing Support: Perform simple product assembly, functional testing, and verification based on standardized procedures (SOPs).
- Labeling & Packaging: Complete product labeling, packaging, and shipment preparation in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Material Preparation: Support production by performing material counting, unpacking components, and preparing parts for assembly.
- System Setup Support: Assist with basic OS installation and simple configuration tasks following defined instructions.
- Quality Check Support: Identify obvious issues such as incorrect labels, packaging defects, or visible product abnormalities and report them to senior technicians.
- Process Compliance: Follow established workflows and SOPs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality in all assigned tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior technicians to support production flow and improve workstation efficiency.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience:
Entry-level; no prior experience required or minimal related experience. Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Skills & Knowledge:
Basic understanding of computer components and hardware (preferred). Ability to follow instructions and SOPs accurately with basic computer skills (e.g., simple system setup or OS installation is a plus).
- Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and efficient
Good teamwork and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow guidance and complete assigned tasks reliably.
- Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
Ability to stand and work in a production environment for extended periods
