Job description
Product Owner - Public Sector/Government - AWS Cloud Platform - Agile
Are you a Product Owner with background working on Public Sector/Government Cloud programmes looking for a new project?
I have an immediate opportunity for a Product Owner to work on an ongoing programme for a government client.
You will own and manage a product backlog focused on platform infrastructure, aligning user needs with programme priorities and objectives. The role exists to turn user requirements into meaningful, data-informed product changes that improve how infrastructure services are delivered and used. You’ll work within a cross-functional team, collaborating with delivery, engineering and leadership to ensure the product meets both regulatory and user expectations.
Due to the nature of the role and the urgency required we are ideally looking for sole British Nationals holding active SC & NPPV3.
I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in a complex, regulated environment, preferably in the public sector.
- Experience working with platform infrastructure components in AWS as product propositions and solutions.
- Strong track record of managing user stakeholders in a milestone-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of software product methodologies such as agile, DevOps and kanban.
- Familiarity with user-centred design and the GDS framework.
- Ability to influence and coach effectively at all levels and make confident prioritisation decisions.
- Competency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Apply now for immediate consideration!
