Data Engineer Expert Consultant

The Data Engineer is a key contributor in preparing and making data available in a safe and secure manner for multiple usages by businesses and functions, including reporting, analytics, and applications. You will deliver well-designed and running data assets for global or local usage, supporting productivity for all data consumers., * Collect business requirements through various requirements techniques.

• Translate requirements into efficient data solutions by designing data flows, data models, data stores/data sets, mapping rules, and access mechanisms.
• Analyze the best sources of data and define business and technical rules for integration.
• Prototype solutions to support business validation.
• Design and develop logical and physical data models and data stores, and industrialize the feeding and deliveries from integrated data stores (data warehouse, data marts, data sets).
• Streamline data pipelines across the enterprise for maximum usage throughout the company or business/function.

Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Dutch: knowledge is a plus

• English: fluent

Education:

• At least a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or engineering (a PhD is considered an advantage).
• Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Modelisation, PowerDesigner
• Preferable: Data Vault modelisation
