Job description

Backend Engineer - Java/Spring Boot

£450 - £500 Outside IR35/6 Month Contract

London - Hybrid - 1/2 Days Onsite

Our client are looking for a Backend Engineer to join a team building scalable, customer-facing digital products. The role focuses on developing Java/Spring Boot services within a GCP environment, building data pipelines, and integrating with a customer engagement platform used in retail environments.

You’ll need to show where you’ve worked on highly available, high-traffic systems, collaborating closely with Front End engineers who are integrating booking and appointment functionality.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience integrating Back End services with third-party platforms and APIs
  • Demonstrable experience working on high-availability, high-traffic applications
